The 'Rational' Wear Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

The 'Rational' Wear

Rating: 5.0

I would'nt want to wear-
my 'rational' glove-and
touch this tender flower.

I would'nt want to wear-
my 'rational' socks-and
tread this lushy grass.

I would prefer to be naked.
I would love to-
run my naked finger over this tender flower.
Its tenderness would reach my heart thru my finger.

I would prefer my naked feet.
I would love to-
run down bare feet on this dewy lushy grass.
Its chillness would reach my head thru my feet.

Just like those religious outfits-
these rational outfits too-
would'nt fit me right-and so
they would'nt set me free.

Poetic in thought, composition and delivery. You won me over. I have said almost the same thing a little differently in 'I am civilized'. Please read it if time permits. Love, CP

From time to time I have thought about this. There are nudist colonies where such things are done. I must say, there is something to be said for it. Long live nudity! Another creative writing from an active mind. I envy your mind. GW62

it is up to us to decide what we should wear on which occasions...religious at times and rational many times...touching and treading bare on anything in life, well; you have that freedom, SLN...good write...10
