The Sadness Felt, Siri Lanka Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Sadness Felt, Siri Lanka

Rating: 5.0

The sadness felt,
Siri Lanka,
For all unjustifiable
Death,
Kill to Kill,
Murder just to murder
The blood they spill
Will,
Be forever,
Savagery!
Not yet civilized,
Are we?

How low lights burn
To darkness,
How sad it is,
These lovely
Innocents lives
No longer exist.

To take the breath of those
Who have no one hurt,
How terribly unjust
And criminally, condemnable
The pain is great,
The method used was, Hate
The inhumanity and horror
Of such acts,
Will never be erased!

My heart goes out
To all the victims
And their families

Rest in peace......

A heart-touching tribute to the innocent victims of an unjustifiable atrocity. Life will go on but scars will never go. Memory of such incidents will haunt forever the conscience of mankind.
