The Tender Things Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Tender Things

Rating: 5.0

Life could be
So beautiful
Made up,
Of Tender Things,
Cultivating, goodness
So Enamored
With that Kindness
That only love
Can bring.

Life could be so beautiful
If ugliness,
Meanness and unkindness,
Stopped!
Love could then take over
Permanently,
And dreams would never
Stop.

Yes, I know,
It can only be
Like this in
Poetry,
But Poets,
Are still Dreamers.
And lets hope that
Never Stops!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written on the 75th Annivesary ofthe Holocaut. When hate became the
most inhuman and horrible disfiguration of cruelty and murder.
And to think that there is a renewal of this hate in the form of Anti-semitism, not only in Europe but also in the United States, today. How very troubling and incredible!

Where there is love, there is kindness. Two wonderful attributes that we must possess to have peace and unity. And every goodness will follow. A beautiful poem that has been woven from the heart of a kind and beautiful person. Liked the ultimate stanza. Very heartwarming. Onto my Poem List.
