The Walk - Poem by Amanda Lukas

I sit here alone
and listen to the
footsteps of passersby
as they steadily walk,
some fast
and some slow,
towards a
which is
still unknown.

And all are hurried,
and none are hushed,
and I am watching
in wonder.

    never alone
    always with the other
even if the other has no name at the moent
we journey on this twirling planet
it's the journey counts good work
