Things Might Get Better (Almost) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Things Might Get Better (Almost)

Rating: 5.0

We're over Hump day
And almost on the edgeof the weeks
You wanted to cry
And when you got home the tear flowed
--For only for a minute
You realised there's nothing stops time
Though, last night you were too tired
To even turn off the light
As the stress wanted you to end it
But there's good stuff happening also
And yr birthday is almost here
And the Andy Warhol retrosepctive is open
As you have been waiting fifteen years
for it to come again
Hold on!
Things might get better
