This Relationship - Poem by Stephen Mountain
If I can comfort you in your darkest hour,
and cheer you up with your favourite flower,
then I know this relationship will never tire.
As long as I can make you smile,
I know this relationship is all worth while.
When we make love it gives us a feeling,
that this relationship has a good meaning.
As long as our problems are on the mend,
then I see no reason why this relationship should end.
If any of the above become untrue,
then maybe I should end this relationship with you.
