Those Eyes Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Those Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Those eyes are made of petals
Do they ever stop dreaming?
When birds chirp amidst fronds
The eyes open up dancing

Those eyes have hidden dark
Clouds and are swollen with rain
Their blinks leave in men's heart
Loves indelible stain

Love the petal metaphor and the eyes which reach our souls with such delicacy, which is so aptly revealed by your style. It's a very good poem indeed. I shall look at some of your other poems soon. i must say the two I've read today inspire me to want to hear more. Regards tom Billsborough .

Your eyes in petals// dancing and dreaming //between the chirps of birds in fronds//your eyes swollen with rain //have hidden dark clouds.// //Their blink love's indelible stain //in my aching heart.[? ]

Spoken from the heart...the greatest gift that a love poem can be. This is a wonderful work.
