I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Time Passes

His hair and beard are streaked with gray.
Just how long has he been that way?
He's much too young to look like that.
It seems like only yesterday
that in my eighth-grade class he sat.
If he's that old, then what am I?
While time has been careening by,
I've gotten feeble, old and fat!

At church today I noticed that a former student of mine has a lot of gray hair in his beard and on top of his head as well. A bit shocking to see him looking so old, when I taught him in the eighth grade!
