इक दूजे का हाथ गहेंगे हम दोनों
संग हँसेंगे और मुस्कायेंगे हम दोनों
आपस में हमराज़ बनेंगे हम दोनों
इक दूजे की मदद करेंगे हम दोनों
डरों की अपने बात करेंगे हम दोनों
इक दूजे के आँसू पोंछेंगे हम दोनों
इक दूजे संग सुख बाटेंगे हम दोनों
आपस में विश्वास करेंगे हम दोनों
बात अंधेरों की भी करेंगे हम दोनों
अवसादी कवितायें लिखेंगे हम दोनों
दुःख पायें तो संग बांटेंगे हम दोनों
होगा दर्द तो चिल्लायेंगे हम दोनों
सब दुखो को साथ सहेंगे हम दोनों
इक दूजे का ग़म अपनायें हम दोनों
जीने का उद्योग करेंगे हम दोनों
अगर मरें तो संग मरेंगे हम दोनों

Thanks for making value addition to the content and for appreciating the translation, though, you might have noted the deviations from the original. But that was deliberate on my part.

Thanks a lot for your kind visit to this poem and I appreciate your thoughtful comments. The poem is about the concept of friendship which we all consider as precious and sacrosanct, though, it may sound gloomy at some places. I have noted your suggestion, Dear Friend.
Though, the poem is basically devoted to the spirit of friendship but carries some pessimism also. I have deliberately changed the tone and tenor of some of the lines while translating. Thank you, Robert, for your comments.
