Tree 8 - Peepal - The Tree Of Life
The Peepal - a spiritual tree
That represents the universal truth.
The truth of sacred knowledge,
The truth of self,
The truth of the Vedas!
The Tree of creation
That has sprung from
The eternal Primeval Being;
The elite knowledge seeker,
The Eloquent Peepal!
Tree that reflects the Cosmos-
Tree with rising roots,
Tree with its stem bowing down,
Tree with an amazing phenomenon,
The Tree of life!
The wise comprehend the nature of
This perennial tree as
Imperceptible in nature,
Imperishable in knowledge,
Intransient like the Vedic Truths!
The divine tree represents
The essential character of
The 'Jeevatma' - the individual soul!
The principle means of transcending
The Gunas and the cycle of births and deaths!
Peepal tree, the truth of sacred knowledge often we call spiritual tree has been nicely inscribed here in its all aspects. However it is standing against storm, thunder and lightning providing shadows, fruits and leaves. A beautiful poem with nice penmanship.
