Under A Tree Poem by Muhammad Ali

Under A Tree

Rating: 5.0

Something dark
Inside heart
I kept hidden
From time to time
That I felt
A weird fun
A seed, in days
Or years, became
A tree of night
Now I search
I want to say
Some (hidden) light

A meaningful metaphoric write, depicting the fallibility of human life. Well conceived.

Darkness hidden in the heart is a seed that eventually grows into a poisonous tree! Once it is grown, it is difficult to uproot it! As we age and become mature, we regret our action and long for light to take the place of darkness! Beautifully expressed!

An unconfessed guilt hidden in the heart like a seed, in course of time, will germinate and grow into a poison tree. Once it has grown into a tree, it is hard to uproot it though one desires to come out of the darkness it creates into light! Beautifully presented!

Darkness as a seed once grows to be a tree in the heart is too difficult to uproot. So it is better to follow the bright sight. A brilliant poem on metaphorical base. Thank u dear Ali for sharing this poem.

Amazing, Muhammad. The seed within all...the potential and possibility of that seed is so rarely explored. You have done it in a most thought-provoking way.

Something dark inside my heart too my dear buddy, it was so long and the scar never healed although the pain gone...still fears scare me. but we are alive, we are alive to kill our live-ness by this is unfair for our next breath, so let just numb it till bones......................................

Super muse here in brevity but deep. Nice metaphor style. Thumbs up. Pls do leave your thoughts comment on my latest poem too, titled, 'To stand tall and proud yet to humbly bow'
