** Unforgotten Love Poem by Bonnie Collins

** Unforgotten Love

Rating: 3.1

Time only stood still, it never actually
changed any part of what was once
a beginnig

Decades now have passed, yet in everyway
it only stood still, in the same beat of my
heart that once was my reason for living

Gently in my mind, the hourglass slowly started
to sift its endless particles of magnificent sand filled
with so many of unforgotten pieces shadowed
in the depth of my heart

Yes, I know, you need not say a word, as the world
will beat its endless song, also will my heart gracefully
carrry its own harbor of unforgotten love.........

A magnificent poem, tale of an unforgotten love, so softly, silently spoken. It was a joy to read this poem.
