Unrecoverable
There is pain
That is forever,
Full of sorrow and regret
There are memories that never
One can ever, just forget
When the emptiness,
Is evident
And all love has
Gone away,
Very little consolation
Comes with every passing day.
All material things are empty
But the love that went away,
From that hurt
You don't recover,
No matter what other say.
I hope and pray there will be that day, Sandra that this void in your heart will be filled with happiness. A heart rending write well conveyed.
A very touching and beautiful poem. We can feel the sadness and pain depicted in this poignant write. It touches one's heart. The intensity of pain sometimes measures how we can cope sadness. There is that pain that is so intense that no amount of consolation can fill the void we feel in our heart.
