This is a clever and well expressed poem, Vaibhav, but it is NOT a haiku. A haiku is only about nature and nothing else. Your poem would qualify as a senryu, which is about everything else except nature. My familiarity with the Japanese forms extends back a good number of years although I am not what could be called a 'purist.' Still, this is a fine senryu poem and does meet the 5-7-5 syllable count properly. Carl.
