Verse Of Solitude (Aft. Sylvia Plath) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Verse Of Solitude (Aft. Sylvia Plath)

Rating: 5.0

You're gone
Down buried six feet deep
O how I wish to be with you
Being with you, I was never alone
We would travel to far away lands
Or the country for a Sunday afternoon drive
Now, I am rarely spoken to
Everyoneis always busy with something
As I sit composing verses of solitude
With my dear, old dog. beside me
Waiting for a walk

LeeAnn, you have so very finely expressed the solitude in your life with this great tribute to the exceptional Sylvia Plath. And such a wonderful way to honour your parents', Sylvia's and Cooper's memories! Outstanding, Poetess Friend!
