Victory - Poem by paul gardner

You seek me in battle
You seek me in loss
With you through life
Achieve at a cost.

I wonder the land
Were you go in sleep,
Am with you at the end
To gather your sheep.

For when i am lost
You show me the way
When i am found
You lead me astray.

You call me from far
When i am so close
You whisper in my ear
When i am but a ghost.
