As the world turns,
Your day comes ever closer
I have marveled at your restraint,
As those wise in their own eyes mocked you
When I found the reason of your tolerance of the wicked,
Clarity overwhelmed me
The evil one is on a leash
You have allowed him to plead his case
Those in heaven rebelled,
Those on earth joined in
You were wrongfully accused before every living thing
The court took its seat,
As all were watching
The world continued to spin,
Your faithful sons watched their brothers choose sides,
The wicked one was hoping that you would react in a flash of anger
And then you placed kingdoms in his hands,
As man witnessed the rotting fruitage of cruel domination,
You promised a true kingdom hope
As the earth continues to sink in debauchery,
They agree on nothing but ignoring you
This is their day,
This is their moment
This is their poetry!
As the night is at its darkest moment,
I wait for you, my God
If your son endured insults for your glory,
Let me follow his humble steps
For I well know that you are ready to act
Too bad for them
You take no delight in the death of the wicked
There is no joy in your heart in this matter,
Yet true justice must come to pass,
Until then,
I choose to wait on my God
A powerful and wonderful spiritual write. Strong words have been embedded in this write to convey deep affirmation of faith. I join the great Poet in his thoughts that despite darkest moments there is hope for the light. And I choose to wait my God. A beautiful finale. Liked the title too. Marvelous poem crafted by a magnificent Poet's Ink.10

Thank you Susan, the first poetry I remember reading was from him, his word is full of all types of it, to think that he speaks to man in this sense is amazing to me and shows the power of it, again thank you
