When A Poet Dies Poem by Soran M. H

When A Poet Dies

Rating: ★5.0

When a poet dies
A flock of white birds will dissolve
inside the clouds
a sleepy and lonely dusk
will carry the corpse of the night on his shoulder
.
No flag will be lowered
No anthem will be played
but the poet will become a symbol
In the last stanza of his poem
the readers will never forget
This Code
.
When a poet dies
A new conflict starts
when your steps falter and stumble
and your neck cannot
Carry your heavy head
when you see
Butterfly soul of poet
silently dissolve
Inside the orange sunset

A poignant and touching poem.Readers who love a poet for his work also find a bit of themselves in his poetry. Why do they love a poet? Because his poetry touch them.(Part-1)

Rose, thank you. I agree with you: had Arthur Rimbaud merely been a tourist and a geographical adventurer, he would not have garnered such attention. Although only two people attended his funeral, his poetry has resonated powerfully throughout the years.

There might be no public fanfare when a Poet dies, however, he achieves immortality through their work. The code is the hidden deep truths tucked away in literature that readers carry forward forever. What a magnificent write

A beautiful tribute to the creative spirit. It depicts that a Poet's true monument isn't made of stone or built by governments but is woven into the very fabric of nature and the hearts of those who read their noble works.
