When The Sky Opened Poem by Kasia Fedyk

When The Sky Opened

Rating: 2.0

Only in my dreams do you come to me
in a silhouette of sun rays merging with my moon light
your lips are my flame
an apple in ripeness
but only if you knew
a ghost in platinum engraved
with no time.
A Holy Ghost I see
when my eyes are covered with the thin skin
and my lashes flatter shut close
I look into your eyes
where white doves sit on its pupil
embracing the core of me human
with flesh so humbled
and low into the holy ground
love, in love I walk
on the feathers of your creation
come and dwell in my love's essence
-solicit me
so I may awaken from the dream I am
into the eternity
of everlasting
Divinity.
When the sky opened.
