Where Are You Poem by Manonton Dalan

Where Are You

Rating: 4.5

i can feel the call of the sea
the rustling waves coming to me
soaking my feet to a soothing chill
i tip toe as i watch passing sail

i look to the horizon with born longing
bow my head; hands in my pockets; mumbling
lovely seashells that waves wash away
dancing with sand; tumbling to the sea

teasing seagulls circling overhead
must be hungry; never been feed
crushing waves a melody to my ears
in symphony with my hidden fears

I do admire this piece. It expresses itself wonderfully. The last stanza has to be my favorite. Very nicely worded.
