Who will cry
When I die?
In some ways
I have touched
A few lives
Family
And friends
Some clients
Employers
Some strangers
I have strived
To achieve
Values set
By parents
Morally
A good person
From good people
Religiously
Faithful to God
Spiritually
Practicing God's Law
I have cried with joy
In seeing sunrise
To share my good life
Smiled at strangers
Food for the hungry
Money to homeless
Crying with sorrow
In viewing sunset
Empathizing with
Children dying young
Poverty's victims
Artists imprisoned
War killing for peace
And when I die
No one will cry
For they will know
That I'm with God
HOW WILL IT MATTER O POET U WOULDN'T KNOW IT LET THEM CRY READING YOU NOW WASH THEIR BLURRED EYES SOME HOW PERHAPS THEN YOU WILL BE PROUD SOME ONE DID CRY LAUGH AND THE WORLD LAUGHS SAID SHE WEEP AND YOU WEEP ALONE SO BE HAPPY NO ONE SHOULD CRY FOR THEE MAY BE ADD ME
And when I die No one will cry For they will know That I'm with God----A very heart touching poem Richard Wlodarski! The same question also troubles me sometime. But rest assured, we have earned some sincere friends who will miss us when we are gone.
Very heart touching poignant poem, Death the secret behind the life, each of us dying alone, even if people crying for us doesn't change things..

Well, I would mourn for you Richard. Yr poems are insightful and inspiring. The question is would you mourn for me?
