A marvelous poem of the day. Congrats for being chosen....10++++++++
Your words are a reminder of this unbalanced world that we live. Technology brings to us everyday the news and the sadness of the world. We also see news stories of sadness daily in our own country. Little people like us are generous and kind to others yet it is the politicians world wide that can seriously make a big difference. Though many only seek the making of their own fame. A great message you have penned.
A wonderful poem with a meaningful message. Those who have access to wealth must help the poor and the needy. Liked the last stanza. A very noble thought.
Blood for blood, we are just the same Shame builds inside me, tellingly unfair There's someone outside, not that fortunate.. poverty, struggle, fate, big questions.. luxurious life on the one side and sheer poverty on the other. tony
" There is some one outside, not that fortunate And could that be passed, as a quirk of fate" Thoughts of a progressive intellectual. Congrats on poem of the Day.
Disparity is the force for pushing life ahead and equality is the force retarding it. But the very sight of struggling to meet both ends make us sad. It is this same sadness that helped the poet to write the poem. Nice one
It's Karma that makes the difference as to how a person lives their lives.Good poem.. a ten..
A thought provoking poem on the disparity seen in everyday life. Some live in opulence while others in stark poverty. Sometimes we feel guilty being more fortunate than others. A nice poem. Loved it. Congratulations.10+++
We are just the same! ! ! ! But, life is unfair! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
The window, insulates me with its pane Insecure within, but allowing me to feign We all are observers of so much vulgarity and disparity in our society and apportion the blame on 'quirk of fate'. 'Go make some impact' should be a common resolve of those who happen to be better off than others.Thanks.
A refined poetic imagination, C. K. You may like to read my poem, Love And Iust. Thank you.
Lovely write, especially the last stanza. There are many things in life we see, and then forget, or we look at but do not see, a little introspection can make a world of difference, indeed.
