Will - Poem by Tomas Medina

in the still of comprehension
i drink the soul of forgetfulness
dreaming the thought of forever
ignorance in the blinding glance of reason
stepping slowly through conscienceness
beneath my skin dwells a feverish capacity
with aching will
driven by the limitations of phisical drama
breaking in the out behind the door of insanity
wish me if you will the strength of many
but never the potential strength of myself
sadistic true nature of 'reality'
the alcatraz of me
bars of chemistry genetic formation
of the annihilation
of possible telekinetic formation
humorous the prospect
alternative reality
not individual
but an all we can see visual
representation of the constant mutation
that happens in passinf
but a moment in time
the delusion of ones mind
perhaps the reality to come for the populous
the mainstream
a fucking nightmare from a kids dream
to deny us the way
to forget what we say
black and bewilderd by the stone
impact shy from fear
the cast of shadow light has thrown
to reflect my bitter tear
the sky sank black upon this day
as sun gave way to moon
and as my blood ran cold and still
i felt my cinder tomb
brick by brick the mortar thick
the flowers here and there
wilted dying with the dead
existence left to share
and mourners few
like wind and sea
roll somber through that square
broken are the wings of te world
feather by feather falling
drifting on that measured wind
and sands of time were calling
to the edge to the earth of oblivion
in technology humanity stalling
mother nature with no nature to lend
in that soft state of utopia
the past watched perfection descend
she carries my mind
violent and destructive
over the tatterd landscape of conscienceness
breaking through the voids of will and circumstance
across the endless sea of destinies sequence
breaking locks and seeking truth
dreaming the last dream of reality
she carries my mind
hidden and silent
smuggled in the coffin of my sanity
desolate the wasteland of msyelf
broken and diseased
sealed with the kiss of an unrequited love
she carries my mind
free and unseen
sweeping over the misunderstandings
the mistakes and miscalculation
the secrets and sufferings
all presumtion and perversion
the anticipation and endearment
and the plauge of displeasure
she carries my soul
loved and understood
through the child of fear
the sibling of seperation
the idiot of insecurity
and the dreamer of imposibilities.
