Will It Ever End? - Poem by Amy Bicknell

Will the wars and killing ever end?
I really wish it would stop
Why do the do it?
There is no real reason
Will it ever end?

Let there not be a repeat of 9/11
With all the sadness and pain
Will the terrorism stop?
Will it ever end?

Will the homeless have homes?
And the starving ever have food?
Will it ever end?

Will the people with AIDS live better lives?
Or will they perish in pain?
Will it ever end?

Will we have an Earth to live on?
When climate change is done?
Will our destruction of this planet stop?
Will it ever end?

Our parents’ generation have failed
So now it’s up to us to bring change to our lives
We will make it end one day……
