Wishes
When love is lost the princess weeps
she ponders on her feet
what will make her happy
the prince she wants she cannot keep
No spell can make it happen
no potion can bring the magic
she holds her cold heart
as if it needs a jacket
she wants her prince to come
to be her only one
to cease her life of lonely
to be her one and only
There can be no rest in the loneliness she is feeling. The lines, she holds her cold heart as if it needs a jacket, are really good. A 10.

Lovely poem, this princess sounds quite depressed I think. Hope she realised there is more to life than having a prince. Good stuff x
Thank you for visiting. Although I sound quite depressed I'm not always this way. Losing something makes you sad. Depression is a chronic thing which I hope to never have I do have happiness in other aspects of my life. It would be enriched to have the love in my life to share it with.
