Without My Love Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Without My Love

Rating: 4.6

A bit of drizzle was coming down
But I needed to get some fresh air
I was still thinking of you
When I took my dog around our usual block
Though, we were getting blinded and wet
It was better than being at home crying
When I arrived home, I had lunch
But I was still hungry, although, I could not eat
For you were still on my mind
I crawled on my bed and flipping the channels
And for a while, I didn't think of you
However, the tears appeared again
Because yr face emerged from the shadows
As the memories startedto flood my mind once more
I thought I would be over you after Christmas
But I realised this year will be the loneliest
I'll experience ever
For I am without my love

LeeAnn, you are a modern - day female version of Leonard Cohen. It's time to get your poetry into song form and hit the concert circuit. And if you think that I'm kidding...I'm Not! Look at all the readers that you're attracting on PH!
