Would You?
Would you shut out the world?
Close the door
Be alone
Forever more
Would you hide your tears?
From everyone you know
Deny your feelings
Whilst they continue to grow
Would you sit on the rocks?
And scream to the sea
Scream to the earth
“Just let me be me”
Would you jump into the ocean?
And float needlessly by
Questioning the world
Just ending in a sigh
Would you ever trust me?
To be there for you
Never stop loving
Believing it’s true
Well, would you?
