Wrong Place, Wrong People - Poem by Larissa Izergina
‘Sign of grief and loss of hope
Is your pale, your frozen face.
Should you stay or should you go,
Leave for good that awful place?
Feeling hurt and disillusioned,
Still alive and that is that…
Leave behind all past confusion
Like an old haunted flat.
Let the shadows and whispers
Of the 'loving' gang of 'friends'
Stay behind as hurt and wistful,
Picking up their odds and ends.
Broken hearts and broken china
Scattered ‘round and nothing amiss…
Clearing off I'm boarding my liner
Taking me back to my world and my peace!
