X Letter To The Poet 1

Rating: 3.4

Dear poet,

I use your poems to feed on my fire,
to keep burning the desire.

After several years of marriage,
despite the feeling still alive is:
the Eden's apple on the table;
the Bible's snake - now common servant,
to serve me sex-appeal`s apples.

Love poems, used like candles,
or coals for more fire
of what is becoming a daily routine
of connubial lust and desire.

Excuse me, if i did misuse,
Your poems come
without instructions,
can be misinterpreted or
misused so.

Oh I love this Onelia! It is true, poems do not come with instructions! They can be interpreted anyway a person wants. What I do take from this though is a tremendous sense of humour and a great play with words. Loved it! HG: -) xx

Love this poem, the idea in it is brilliant and of course we all use poems to our own end so anyone can interpret the lines exactly as they perceive them to be! Good reading your work again: -) xx

Comment to the poem 2. Time goes by. Is it matter again? Somebody wonders whether poet (herself) can re-live her emotions condensing them into lines. So next time she can intensify her real as well as literary experiences. The poet could wonder where one of her friends gets to.

once posted, a poem becomes the exclusive property of the reader...and the reading of it depends upon the reader's experience levels, am i right?
