Have you ever seen love
Have your ever heard love
Have you ever felt love
Have you ever seen God
Have your ever heard God
Have you ever felt God
Some people
have never felt true love
Some people
have never felt the presence of God
Fine poem. congratulation. I invite you to read my poem and comment. Yours Gajananmishra
The title keeps changing....anyway whatever you pick the title, the content is still a big one...I like it as you always bring your moving heart to speak your soul...no matter how many times you change the title, i can see the honest and value inside the poem...a very good poem sure! _Unwritten Soul
This is an awesome poem..... But that is a little much at the end... Not that you can ever have to much of God! ! ;)
Love is patient; Love is always kind; Love is never envious or arrogant with pride. Nor is she conceited, and she is never rude; she never thinks just of herself or ever gets annoyed. She never is resentful; is never glad to side with sin; she's always glad to side with truth, and pleased that truth will win. She bears up under everything; believes the best in all; there is no limit to her hope, and never will she fall.1 Corinthians 13: 4 -7
response (by author of the poem) to the comment below by Jacky Chi the poem starts about love, Jacky Love cannot be seen, it cannot be heard, it cannot be touched and yet if we ask anyone, does love exist, they will answer, sure it does. We have no problems believing in love since we can feel it. One could ask: but love is created by humans, without humans there would be no love? Quite a superfluous thought, no one knows whether love would exist without human existance; there are so many humans in the wold. Then the poem goes on to talk about God, Jacky Similarly to love, no one can see, hear of touch God. And even though this is not different from love, many more people will take this as a reason not to believe in God. This is logical for those who have never felt the presence of God. People who consciously or unconsciously exclude spirituality from their lives and choose to a live a life purely based on 5 senses actually miss out on a whole dimension of life and true enough they do not experience God. Those who choose to lead a spiritual life or make spirituality part of their life will experience God and the existance of God becomes as tangible as the existance of love.... I think I am explaining too much here, perhaps we should let poetry speak for itself and questions about them make them often more interesting. PS: for those believing only in our 5 senses, these 5 tend often not to be too reliable: think abt rainbows, horizons, wet streets on sunny days, etc. Read also the transcendentalist by RW Emerson.
true...some people also may have felt both, but found it tough to deal with... Great poem, it will stick to thoughts for a while, thank you for share!

True love is God. Contrasting lines reveal this truth. Beautiful!
