You Can Never Be Sure - Poem by Soran M. H

Close your eyes
The universe entirely
Turned to darkness
You can never be sure
If a ghost
Flies in the sky of the mind
Or a bee
Sucks at the sweetness of the soul

Open your eyes
You can never be sure
If it is bright spring
Or monochrome winter
Day or night
Life or death

You can never be sure

Topic(s) of this poem: life and death, philosophy

Form: Stanza

    You can never be sure
    If a ghost
Flies in the sky of the mind
    Or a bee
Sucks at the sweetness of the soul.. very fine poem.. in such an imagination, you present a fine philosophy of life and death as symbols. thanku. tony
