کل اک سمندر جانا ہوا
وہاں اک ریت کا گھروندا ملا
کہنے لگا کیوں آئے ہو
کیا شوق ہے مکمل بکھرنے کا
میں نے پوچھا کون ہو تم
بولا ریت کا گھروندا ہوں
مجھے دیکھو یہاں رہتا ہوں
پوچھا ڈر نہیں لگتا؟
بولا کس بات کا؟
کہا خوف نہیں آتا ہواؤں کا؟
بولا
دیکھو! میں ریت کا اک گھروندا ہوں
مگر اپنی طرف آنے والی ہواؤں کو
بہت مضبوط ہوکر روکتا ہوں
ایسے ٹالتا ہوں کہ مکمل مجھ کو
اک دم سے نہ گرا سکیں
مجھے ریزہ ریزہ کر کے بکھیریں

سنو!
ساحل پہ مت کھڑے ہوا کرو
یہ اک ہی بار میں بہا لے جائے گا

مگر مکمل نہیں بکھرتا یہ ہوائیں میری ذات کا
ذرہ ذرہ ہی لے کر جائیں گی
تم کیوں آئے ہو
بہت شوق ہے بکھرنے کا
ریزہ ریزہ ہونے کا
یا پھر مکمل گرنے کا

مجھے مانو
وہی سمندر کنارے
ساحل سے پرے
ریت کا اک گھروندا
مجھے بھی ریزہ ریزہ ہو کر بکھرنے دو
مکمل گرنے نہ دونا

تم روتے ہو تو
میں ساحل بننے لگتا ہوں
جسے سمندر مکمل بہا کر لےجاتا ہے

مگر لے جاتا ہے
مجھے ریزہ ریزہ ہونے دونا
مجھے مکمل نہیں بہہ کر جانا
مجھے وہی اک ریت کا گھروندا مانو نا

میرے تیسرے بھیگے لہجے!
سنو ذرا غور سے سن لو نا
تمہارے آنسو سمندر ہیں
انہیں ساحل سے پرے دور کرلو ناں
جو مجھے مکمل اک ہی جھٹکے میں نہ گرائے
مگر ریزہ ریزہ کر کے اڑائے
آہستہ آہستہ بہائے
کیونکہ!
مجھے تمہارا چہرہ ہاتھوں میں لیکر
ماتھا سینے سے لگا کر تمہارے سر کو سہلانا ہے
تمہارے قدموں میں بیٹھ کر
تمہارے ہاتھ پکڑ کر اپنی آنکھوں سے لگانا ہے
اپنی روح میں تمہیں بہانا ہے
