Two thousand years ago
In Bethlehem town, Oh,
A baby boy was born
In manger-shed forlorn!

The love of God was born on earth
In Bethlehem’s outskirts;
When baby boy and new-born king
In manger, had just cried;

The God who dwells in light immense,
Which human eyes cannot perceive,
In heaven, His abode unseen,
Exists whether you disbelieve, believe!

What shall I do with just pennies ten,
On Christmas Day to celebrate?
Oh, I can't buy a star alit,
That tells the world that special date!

On donkey's back, with child in womb,
The Virgin Mary came;
They travelled long to Bethlehem
And searched for room in vain!

The Christmas spirit catches all
The Christian people globally,
As winter's freezing chill is on,
And birth of Jesus happens fast.

A Christmas tree of fir or pine,
When decorated looks so fine;
With baubles, stars, festoons that shine,
And gifts and pastries, food and wine.

All I want for Christmas
Is Jesus babe be born,
In every Christian home,
Where He is most welcome.

The unseen God of love is born today;
The Word became flesh to redeem sinners;
The Prince of peace brings joy to earth this way;
Repentant souls reach bliss as clear winners!

As baby boy, the Son of God, our Lord;

In wee hours of a morn in winter's cold,
For there was no room at the inn for Him!

A Lamb of God is born tonight,

The boy must Shepherd flocks to light.
Be King on Judgment Day!

But Mary needs some place;

Joseph wears vexed a face!

Baby Jesus, ‘Happy birthday! ’
You brought us joy and peace to earth;

But Jesus came just to redeem sinners;
And not for those righteous in the lord always;
He brought his joy and peace to those who need,
To comfort, heal the sick, suffering, dying.

A baby boy is born in Bethlehem;
A manger in an inn is where he lies;
The only Son of God sans diadem!
He sleeps on hay but bears heavenly ties.

Poor mother’s in the hospital;
She had some surgery;
And father’s busy at his work;
Tom boy is all alone.

The Virgin Mary accepted
Obediently to God’s command,
And told the angel, ‘So be it! ’
-A blessed lady’s holiness.

Birds aren’t found to be singing;
The white snow keeps on falling.

Toll the bells on Christmas Eve;
Spread the Christmas cheer;
Light the candles everywhere;
Wait for birth of Christ.

Appeared a star anew in East,
And brought three Magi to the West;

Alit are Christmas trees!
And gifts are placed beside;
Festoons decorate halls;
Bright stars illuminate.

There will be hung bright- lit stars
In many households;
There will be festooned Christmas-trees
For many young-olds;

God Father had his only Son,
By Holy Spirit’s pow’r be born
Of Virgin Mary Mother blest,
In Bethlehem’s manger in West.

Another year is coming to a close!
Another Christmas Day is coming near;
Another chance to make up with ones dear;
Another season to enjoy, of course!

“You have no fear, ” the angel said,
“To Shepherds on a winter’s night.”
“A king anew is born today! ”
The king of Jews and King of kings.

No time to bake a cake!
No tree to decorate;
No Santa to bring gifts;
No crib for the new-born King!

I’ve heard of Santa,
But does he come
On reindeer sleighs
On snow-clad roads?

Christmas is coming once again!
Born will be the Babe once more;
Bringing joy to the world like rain;
This is the Truth and not folklore!
