I take my heart out among the orphans,
to play and sing a lullaby.
I spread my helping hand to shower the care.
Love, that is elusive, to them tonight.
But the world mocks at them,
and label them as untouchable benevolent.
I shall travel the path not taken by many,
to reach where life is beyond hatred and double standards.
When I return, the path will be open to others.
Let them find comfort in others happiness, too.
This life's joy is not in our success alone.
But, taking others along with to the mount of happiness.
A magnificent piece of poetry! I greatly appreciate and admire the poet's expression embodied in the penultimate stanza! 5 stars
Beautiful poem. It is a shame to consider people as " untouchable"
This life's joy is not in our success alone. But, taking others along with to the mount of happiness. So wonderful, so noble, so benevolent! Wish everybody thought like this. Thank you dear Poet Asim ji for this lovely poem......5 Stars
Great poem. Thats what God wants us to do. To look after his forsaken children. To sow and show love. We can pray build super churches and know every verse but if we dont love someone we are wasting time. I wish you best of luck in your philanthropy my brother
This life's joy is not in our success alone. But, taking others along with to the mount of happiness. /// yeah right you are
A well composed poem. Truly magnificent.....5 stars *****
I shall travel the path not taken by many, to reach where life is beyond hatred and double standards....so impressive with lofty theme. A beautiful poem on love and life is amazingly shared. Thank you Asim ji, five stars.
Marvelous poem with a sublime message. Most of us have no concern for the less fortunate especially for the children languishing in orphanages and their hardships. It is the resolve of the poet to change this situation that appeals the reader most. Thanks, Asim ji.
