A Code Of Silence Broken
When my spoken words
Tenderly caress her ears
No holding back..no fears
I the poet take my pen
To write lovely verses
Permanently inscribing
What I have said since
They were inspired by
Her name to be stored
In her heart forever!
I dedicated my poem to
An Angel who is the essence
Of my very true being
A code of silence is broken
As a new love is born
She's now the center of
My universe and part of
My heart and soul!
I have loved in vain
Now mere traces of
What once existed
Strewn pieces so far
Away from my memory
And now finding myself
Navigating on a
A different page!
No longer meandering
In a wild ocean of currents
Going against me I float
Amidst a smooth breeze
Taken in by the essence
Of fragrant scent
A beautiful love
So passionate and
So intense!

Very nice imagery. I can feel the love in the heart as it has her close and the crushing disappointment when the heart loses it's most valuable possession. This one took me on a journey through love and heartache. Well written. Brava!

I have always believed that with written words one never dies. It is one of the ways like painting, music etc. by which we can live forever and I suppose that is what is called immortality. Written words make one immortal. Here the poet has described the immortal love very beautifully and has written from his soul. Very deep and true. I loved the poem.
