A Crown Of My Own
Did I ask you
To give me a rainbow?
Did I ask you
To pluck that crescent moon
And put it on my head
As my crown?
I never depend
On another's strength
And wealth.
I never cease to work
To reach that star
Destined for me,
To achieve a crown
Of my own.
When I work
I use my mind and
My heart and
All parts of my body
Are synchronized
To achieve maximum results.
Yes, body, mind, heart
And spirit
Attributes that have been
Endowed for me
By God Almighty
To utilize to the fullest
To enjoy life
To feel and see
The wonders of existence
And to feel the joy of being
With my fellow men.
