A Diabolic Act, Rape
A diabolic feeling for the flesh,
Arouses in the realm of thought,
A fire that reduces wisdom to ashes,
For the pleasure of moments,
Decades are ruined.
I was captivated by the third line in your poem-a fire that consumes all discernment.
A violent act not worthy of a human being, not even the animals rape. It is truly diabolic. Great wisdom my friend.
A condition of a depraved mind, inocence is crushed. A fine write, and a sad truth, written with the pen of wisdom
A laughter of the Devil, the dying soul victory, yet a personal satisfaction endanger Salvation to eternity...bewares..... point of departure, a wonderful poem for reflection...God bless...a star and 10+++

Yes I am sure all rapes must begin diabolically. Men and women only use each other to their own ends and the idea of love becomes distorted.

I loved this poem not so much for its thematic reference but for its concise targeting of a visious tendency in so many criminals in our midst. Excellent!
