No moon, no stars, no planets,
There was not even universe where they existed,
There was a vast land all around,
And a deluge of people probably billions in number,
Naked men and women bowing down their heads,
Waiting for their turns to meet their fate,
The sun was pouring fire on their heads,
They were being enquired of their deeds,
As per their deeds, they were being sent to Heaven or Hell,
God sat on a huge and cumbersome chair,
He was red with anger and ordering the angels,
They were running to and fro to carry out His orders,
He was resorted to punish the sinners mercilessly,
They were being thrown into inferno,
But suddenly He shouted and said,
'Mercy is greater than punishment and I'm the most merciful.'
He forgave them all and sent them to Heaven.
And I woke up as I felt
The rays of the sun on my face.
I didn't think anything was at all original here until the ending, when your most endearing God forgave everyone, certainly to many of their surprise and relief. However, being a non-believer, this did not appeal to me greatly. At least your God is not a vengeful one.
We are told to test the spirits to see if they are from God, so my point of view is that while this gives a measure of hope at first, we are told to verify what is the truth. So I would have the storyline continue with the dreamer rushing to read the Holy Bible so as to learn what the Word of God says. Jesus preached about Heaven and about Hell. I would take the poetry to explain this in the concluding verses to show why Jesus had to die and why He told His disciples that He would make them fishers of men, not teachers leading sinners to Hell, but prophets leading them to Heaven... because the New Testament is a Covenant between God and Man based upon Jesus dying to atone for the sins of the world, especially those that believe in Him... This dream poetry makes us think, could God forgive everybody? Not according to the Holy Bible doctrines. Not without faith in Jesus. So I will try to write about this... Thanks for sharing this poem idea.
What a beautiful dream, oh that it would be such. God is all powerful, and he is forgiving. Maybe it will come to pass. A ten.
may God's mercy be on all of us on the day of judgement. God bless you.
i'm not religious, but i think that this poem is alright.
'Mercy is greater than punishment and I'm the most merciful'.... i like this line... although of course, holiness, purity, love, and hunger for truth remains to be above all, God's mercies are always there... thanks for sharing...
A dream of heaven all waiting in Gods waiting room Gods mercy excelles here in this poem and the ending will make us all sleep well tonight with your great message++++++10...regards
A very well written poem... may Allah forgive us all and show us the path of righteousness...
You are lucky to see God in your dream...Truth is that the creator alone is responsible for creating good and evil...once we surrender unto Him He frees us from evil and salvage us....interesting poem...10

I would like to translate this poem
Mohd. Akmal, I'll have you know this is a wonderful poem, and I have saved it as my favorite. I love the ending. We are powerful precisely because we have the freedom to NOT do the thing that everyone might expect us to do. I find a beautiful reflection of that truth in this.
