A Gentle Hum - Poem by Nadine O'Neill

Started as a gentle hum
Deep inside me
Turned to feel rum
Like armies of bee

Cranked up to a buzz
Right in my tummy
Why such a fuss?
Good feelings a dummy

Screaming at top volume
All inside my body
Wishing for Valium
Exclaiming: Bloody!

Head long exploded
Everywhere pain
Heart’s overloaded
Only forgiveness left to gain
