On the beloved’s broken embrace
The chilly wind spread her warmth
The cold night swept the lonely streets
The frigid moon shimmered away
The dark shivered and shuddered
Even cursed the sleepy sun
I remember on such a night
The plunging skies wrote our name
In silver on the dark skies
Chattering clouds they hushed
To listen to the sighs
That spilled out deep from my chest and
Were left Strewn around my naked skin
Like leaves in autumn, shells on the sand,
With fingertips you picked them tenderly
Your lips lingering where they lay spent
Sometimes they sounded like music,
Sometimes just a whisper, they quiver,
Then hungry, now sated, fervent sighs
You pick them up with your fingers gently
Brush them with your breath slowly
Feel them with your eyes shut
Press them in the pages of your heart
To be shut and opened years later
To remind us of this cold November night
A cooling romantic experience full of warmth and warming in pleasantness.
'Feel them with your eyes shut Press them in the pages of your heart' those two lines just melt my heart...but everything is wonderul....!

cold november night, a sigh, a high- very sensuous and romantic piece, Reshma. suggestive imagery, bold.in theme Mamta
Exceptional imagery with such romantic and extremely sensual lines. I clung on to every word and enjoyed it so, then read it over and this means it is wonderful writing Reshma. 10 love Karin
