yes, art for art
my eyes only see poesy
as the most artistic theme
in our day-scheme
most what we truly can enjoy
and what our heart can employ
the uplifting rhythm and the sweet rhymes
as far as poetry sublimes
nothing makes us happier than poetry
no need for money
just reading
and enjoying tremendously
of our mesmerizing poetry,
mesmerizing according to our ears
our poetry will survive
the ordinary life's strife
It would be nice to think our poetry will last longer than us, though we won't be around to know! !
