After............


After the lights have all faded, daylight gives way to the night............
I find myself listening for someone, yet nobody's ever in sight.
After the daylight has faded, I find something stuck in my mind,
Everything else just passes, except for the tears in your eyes........
Maybe, I should say I'm sorry, seems I never get things right?
Maybe, I should just stop, already losing the fight.............
After the memories have faded, I find myself alone in this room.
As the walls close in around me, It's seemly more like a tomb.
I look to someone for forgiveness, but too much time passes by.
Maybe, tommorrow I'll be happy? but today it's the tears in your eyes.
After a while, it seems I'm able to smile.
Though the world I once knew, is now out of style.........
Maybe if we believe in each other, perhaps we'll get by?
But still something, is stuck inside of my mind...........
Time after time, it's just the teardrops in your eyes...........
