Fear or ‘Bhaya'
Frightful mental condition of
Facts unknown erupting into
Fearful reactions of
Frightening nature
Falling into a trap of ignorance!
Effusive fear gushing
Egocentric feeling,
Eliminating all reasons,
Embittered by illusions,
Enveloped in emotional predictions,
Elephantine foreboding!
A complicated, yet, a common emotion,
Admitting and causing a commotion,
Anxiety and worry,
Anguish and woe,
Anger that causes
Agony without any pauses!
Rising from a state of ‘Bhaya' or Fear,
Reaching a state of ‘Abhaya' or Fearlessness
Requires tremendous mental strength,
Resolute determination,
Recurring will power,
Reassuring perseverance!
Ahimsa can be practised only by
Awareness of the eternal spirit,
Agile intrepidity,
Admonishing cowardice,
Acquitting all intimidations
Admitting only unshrinking dauntlessness!
Song Celestial ‘Bhagavad Geeta' pours
Soothing words of wisdom;
Soul is indestructible,
Soul is imperishable,
Soul is immortal - Then why?
Sentimental of the trembling fear!
Sentimental of the trembling fear! here i say Sentimental of Love.
Bhaya and Abhaya, I understand these words, I have read Hindi translation of Bhagvad Geeta, a great divine book, telling us how Lord Krihna teaches Arjuna the wisdom we need. Your poem is wonderful. It's not easy to write six lines starting with the letters of FEAR, but you did it. A thoughtful poem ending with an amazing stanza that asks us to be fearless The topic of the poem is yoga, yrs, yoga is helpful in many ways.
Great theme you have chosen to write. Wonderful poem. Fear is strong but love or faith is stronger..For some, the 'Bagavad Geeta.' gives the soul strength. Ignorance breeds fear. Fear breeds more fear Fear is imagined Fear cripples Killer of dreams
