An Inner Call! Poem by Aarzoo Mehek

An Inner Call!

Rating: 4.3

Oh God guide me to the path you will
Select me to reside in the abode of peace
Oh God I know the call is general
But the guidance is exceptional
And I know it is you who chooses
It is you who selects Who is near to you
I know I don't excel in good deeds
I know I'am your weak child
But I also know When I cry with regrets
You will be the first to wipe my tears
I know You've set the path and a way
And we take life as sports and play
And I know the life of this world
Is filled with deceptive enjoyments
Oh God let my conscience be alive
And let me tread on your path with patience
Let my life end in your submission
And let me find my life's definition.

I know I don't excel in good deeds I know I'am your weak child But I also know When I cry with regrets You will be the first to wipe my tears Man has been ever on a quest to finding God and being in the balmy care of His love! When things don't work out in the way we plan and as we stand aghast at the cross roads of life, confused as to which direction we should choose, we hear an inner call to look up to God! I am sure He will guide and even carry the lame lamb on His shoulders. Then we feel so much relief and find our burden being lessened! He is with us when we are weak. This miraculous intervention, I have felt many times in life! In the hurly burly of life, we hardly pay heed to this inner call. This poem marked by sincerity and an abiding trust in God is simply beautiful! (Report)

A beautiful call from the deepest recesses of man's heart. In a world that is full of deceptive enjoyments, it's hard to hear the inner call but lucky are those who are able to shut their ears to external noise n open their hearts to internal voice. Profound read.
