Angels Of The Living Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Angels Of The Living

Rating: 4.7

I'm lying at the bottom
of the ocean devoid of breath
just waiting for death

Sea serpents and mutants all around me
watching and waiting
ready to feed off what's left

I see my spirit and soul
rise above me
my eyes are closing
to nothing but darkness

Then a bright light comes
and shatters the darkness
an angel appears and says
the ocean is not your resting place
your life is to be lived
now you rise and you rise
to the sound of the living

I can truly say Amen to this great write Dave. An Angel of light appeared and rescued a soul from the pits of Hell. All kinds of spirits was waiting to take hold. This leads me to invite you to read my poem An Angel Just for Me. I am thankful that you shared this poem.
