Possessing an unwillingness to forgive
How can one choose not to live
Anger and pain need no fuel
Life and death battling a deadly duel
Just existing moments that never last
Becoming lasting effects of the past
Ending times I thought were real
Leaving no choice to play or deal
Time shows no mercy as it hurries by
The only thing real that will never die
Changing fragments of a broken dream
Is the way I thought it would seem
A mystery that radically evolved
Helplessly waiting while good is disolved
Creating cruelty with every chance
Destruction by force just to enhance
Very powerful and indepth piece. Your words share such insight and leaves a frightening feeling of what is to come.
I thought it was good too. It rhymed a bit like my poem but I thought it was better than mine. It had more substance in it I think. Gandy
I am commenting because you asked us to comment on your poems so you could have a lot of hits. I hope you reach your goal - not that a lot of hits really means anything, but you asked.
I really like this one. So many clashes and battles we have to fight everyday. Good Job! :)
The lines support the title and theme very well, and the writing seems quite skillfully done...
Hmmm... another good one. What I respect here is the tautness of phrase, the concision. I think many poets on POEMHUNTER can learn a thing or two from your compressed lines and unsentimental approach. By any chance, do you enjoy reading Sylvia Plath?
A mystery that radically evolved Helplessly waiting while good is disolved Creating cruelty with every chance Destruction by force just to enhance .... we must try to build and not to destroy anything good.... it is not good quality....10 read mine watched helplessly.... real neighbour
