Are You Just A Corrupted Heart Or A Haunted Soul? Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Are You Just A Corrupted Heart Or A Haunted Soul?

Rating: 4.4

(dedicated to people who love and need justice)

selfish
greedy
malicious

chic
dandy
intellectuals

hunger
ambitious
never enough

in politic
in economy
in social life

the public figures
the high positions
powerful weapons

lie to you
betray you
deny you

steal from you
your money
your life

evil people
bad people
who left miseries

the lowlifes
darkest thoughts
dolls of the material

maladies
in human beings
in civilizations

destroyers
to dignity
to loyalty

killers
to innocence
to the truth

terrible
to society
to humanity

terrifying
to women
to children

creatures
with no mercy
no love

creatures
with no heart
no soul

catch them
jail them
no way out

pursue them
punish them
no compromise

corruptors are zombies
who ride luxury cars
who live in grand houses

corruptors are zombies
who wear starry clothes
who sail in diamond boats

do we have
enough power
to punch those zombies?

do we have
enough bravery
to defeat those zombies?

are you just a dark heart or a lost soul?
are you just a venomous heart or horrible soul?
are you just a corrupted heart or a haunted soul?

(inspired by all fights against corruption)

This is a fiery piece! ! ! Man, if this poetry is a reflection of you, in the stance for justice and fairness, firm belief that oppressors must not go unpunished- you are definitely a force to reckon with! I cherish what you stand for. Nice writing, great flow all the way.

I love the amount of passion and force that comes out of the words and definitely a tense atmosphere in the message that we all think about now in these days, very impressive.

How very actual this poem is, it seems to be the reality that is dictated upon is by those bold ones that keep pushing the limits of what we can bear. Thanksgreetings from Sneek The Boomfriend
