Right across my window glass
From where I sat inside my car
Parked aside a village road
Two lads I find beg for alms
In front of that vending shop
Stretching out their tiny palms…
The elder could be aged ten
Less four is the younger one
Might be asking something for
To satiate hunger
As I watch, the good-hearted
The vendor gives two cake pieces…
As I watch, the kid's elder
Gives them both to his brother
As I watch, I find sun rays
Focus on four little eyes
As I watch, I find this sight
Hatch divine love me inside…

Its time we all stepped out of our cars(Mental bondage!) And come out on the free roads to live a simple life and find true happiness, of giving and sharing! Thanks for reminding!
Absolutely inviting. A sure display of what this world can still behold and what it can still become. Charming.
Lovely poem, i really liked it sir. It gives me a true sense of peace and the liaison’s love portrays a remarkable message. Hope people turn their ways like this. And imbibe a helpful gesture. Richa. cheers.
