Ashes Of Each Dead Flower Poem by Daya Nandan

Ashes Of Each Dead Flower

Rating: 5.0

She loved him with all that she had,
Yet he broke her leaving her sad,
She tried and tried to put up with him,
Yet he destroyed it all in a manner so grim,

He shattered her tender heart into pieces and left,
After taking 4 years of her life, true theft,
He slept with other women without an ounce of guilt,
And tore down their 4 year love story that they built,

But honesty i believe that she is now better off in life,
Without him waiting in the shadows to stab her with a knife,
She has the freedom to study and chase her dreams,
She now has the chance to make reality better than it seems,

Her wounds are still there yet in time they will heal,
And the right person will come to give hear heart love's feel,
It is not the end but a new beginning for her with growth each hour,
She will rise like a phoenix from the ashes of each dead flower.

This is written so nicely with very smooth flowing rhymes. I love the feelings and the meaning expressed. Most challenges make us stronger. Breaking up a relationship that did not work may be indeed often a blessing in disguise Excellent
