At Lucky To Grasp

Rating: 5.0

Voicless the lips,
motionless the hands,
vibrating the surprise's chords,
eyes ecstatic
shuttling
signal flare shots,
beaming
the heavenly thrill.
Keep those imperishable mind's deposits untouched.
They may levitate into the aether that blew and passed
but return in nostalgic breeze again and again back,
vivid in your mind's eyes
remembering them still astound
in the rapture of those moments passed,
in those sweet fleshless wounds by the arrows of Love.

Rejoicing over memory's journey to the past,
to the sparking moments
with the gleam of promising love,
to moments intact by insolence of betraying facts,
regard happy the life's journey as far as it lasts.

Your ticket: the eyes' reciprocal convenants
upon the bliss of those devine sparkles.
Feel happy at their emotions' hoard,
wealth of your feeling's glow
as long as your life lasts
at lucky to grasp.

You can understand, dear lady, how ecouraging it is to hear such a word like yours.Especially when your native language is not the english one.Thiw poem is a rendering into english of a poem written in my native language, the greek. So if you find it fluent than I have to be satisfied.I'm waiting, as I noticed it in my other anwser for your even amendments on inappropriated wording.Thank you so much.

I wonder, my lady, how it happened and you noticed it so far away you in beautiful Australia. Two days ago I was discussing with an australian couple about the countries beaties.I hope you beleive it when you assure me you find it amazing. You know, even we who write poems sometimes we do not beleive it to.It seems to us not sure that we will be able to write a next one.So aan encouraging word is always needed especially from those they know how uncertain it is.I had a glimpse on some of your poems.I do assure you that I had the impression you are areal poetess.I'll read by first convenience many many others of yours. Thanks alot, heartedly.

l'Amore - il sentimento che nel presente ci elettrizza e nel ricordo ci sorregge.. Love - this deep feeling that energizes and thrills us in a present time, and whose memories support us, later on - seen through the eyes of an archaeologist, looking at his own heart, while delving into the greatness of the ancient Greek world.. good job, Dimitrios!

Thank you, Fabrizio. It is exactly the cituation you describe. You see, getting older and older you turn back even to moments without any touchable fruit, intact by the next reallity to follow.

Right in your assumption that this is too a translation of a greek poem of mine.To me the greek verse sounds in a way I'm satisfied to have composed it so.I can not tell how good sounds the english rendering. That is why So much attention on your estimation. Please do not hesitate to give me any advise you would give to a friend of yours who is not afraid of hearing the truth. That is something I would like to be obliged to you for, Happy the NewYear.
